Is it possible to try a class first?

Yes, PWE offer a trial lesson and assessment of the student.

How do you communicate with your Parents?

PWE provide a Newsletter at the start of each school Term.

We also provide a business email for specific matters.

Where do I park?

The classrooms are at the Building at # 303 Pacific Highway, Lindfield.

Most guardians / parents park on the Pacific Highway – on the east side / southbound side / the Train Station side.

If you park on the Pacific Highway – northbound / west side – then you can cross over at the traffic lights at the Station.

Where are the Classrooms? 

Classrooms are at Units 15 & 16. They are located 10 meters in from the street and up the first set of stairs on the right.

There is a PWE green and blue flag at the bottom of the stairs.

Do you offer Private Lessons?

Yes, PWE do offer private lessons (one to one ratio). 

The content and plans for a Private lesson are discussed with the Teacher and agreed in advance. 

What Year Group will my student attend?

Normally, your student will attend PWE classes for the same as their school Year. 

Occasionally, a student may be placed in a higher or lower Year group, depending on development needs determined by teacher assessment.

What happens if my student misses a class?

PWE offer a make-up lesson of 60 minutes at certain times each week. They will cover the same content as the missed class.

PWE do not offer refunds for missed classes (refer Payment Policy).

Do you use laptops or computers?

Normally, students at PWE do not use computers. 

PWE always encourage good hand writing and spelling skills.

Most classes utilise worksheets from the relevant Program.

PWE provide student equipment, including pencils, erasers and sharpeners. PWE do not use ink pens.

For the year-long Novel class, students need to bring and use their own laptops.

What facilities do you have in your classrooms?

PWE have 6 classrooms of different sizes, each with a table and chair per student.

Teachers will use large TV screens, paper worksheets and other learning materials.

PWE provide facilities include toilets, air con, tissues, water, first aid and, of course, a book library.
